I'm trying to not be a whining, fearful baby today. Satan will be in full force attack today and I need to pray without ceasing today. <P>Please pray with me today that my husband, his name is David, stays focused on restoring our marriage and no thoughts of the OW will enter his mind whatsoever. The reason I'm praying this today is he has to work today at the jobsite where all this agony started - across the street from the OW's work. He would meet with her every AM before work, for lunch and drink (among other things) with her at her house after work. Her house was right up the street from his jobsite as well. From what I understand she is living with her X-H (the one who told me all about their affair), AND his house is also within 5 miles of this jobsite. I admit it, I am scared. <P>Thank you all so much for being here for me today. <P>Love you all so much,<P>AW

Father, thank you that you place a hedge before us and behind. Thank you for being our refuge and strength, for your promises to be our stronghold and our fortress, our protector and our comforter in times of trouble. Father, you tell us to be alert and yet not to fear anything but you. We bring David before you Father; the temptor has laid a hard path before him today. Father, we ask you to take hold of his mind, that it cannot wander or hear the evil ones taunts, that his work is so busy that he can do nothing other than focus on the job at hand, that he experiences only a yearning to know you better and a hunger for your righteousness. We ask you to turn his heart to the wife of his youth, AW, that his thoughts be only of her today. We ask that you bind his desire for alcohol and fill him with a desire to hurry home to her. We ask that you give Aw your unfailing love, an extra measure of peace and contentment that only comes from you. Anxiety is laid at your feet Father. Bring her the joy that comes with morning, a fellowship with you today that overwhelms her, fill her to overflowing with your omnipotence. Guard her mind as well, Lord, and let it not wander to the past, and let today be her full focus. Show her how to love David as only you know how. We wait in expectation for the hope that is you. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!<P>Okay, AW, now we expect a full report on how you watched and saw how He was working around you today and how you joined in! I want to hear all about the blessings you received. Remember where fear comes from and verbally rebuke him outloud as many times as it takes today. The evil has no power. We are the overcomers!

Thank you so much for your beautiful prayer. If my printer wasn't broken I'd print it out to read over and over today. <P>I promise I will do a full report tonight! My heart is already calmer. Last night when he told me where he had to work today (at least he told me!) I admitted to him that it bothered me, and I was scared. He said "don't worry". <P>This AM I got up with him to have coffee with him before he left, and asked him if I could meet him for lunch today (where he's working is only about 20 miles from home) and he said sure, bring him some lunch. Another good thing. <P>By God's grace I will get through this day with more faith than before. <P>

SueB - I'm reporting in with my Praise Report....<P>He heard our prayers, and sent me blessings, all day. <BR>First blessing: I went to meet H for lunch, he said he was super busy (one of our prayer requests) and the big boss was coming so he didn't have time to take a break. <BR>Second blessing: H was talking with another guy when I drove up, the other guy turned to me, smiled a big smile and waved. The other guy was a person I had met at the reception we were at when my H got so drunk and gave my son alcohol. This kind man, who had never met me before the reception, came over to me at the reception, patted my hand and said "I'll help you get him out of here. Don't feel so bad, because one day this will all be better. I used to be just like your H, drunk all the time, until I woke up and saw the light. Your H will too." I have been asking the Lord to place Christians in H's path, and send people to him that would be good influences. David worked beside this man all day. From what I understand from H, he hadn't seen or worked with this particular man for a very long time.<BR>Third blessing: Late afternoon I was getting anxious, so I started to pray SueB's prayer, asking especially for the Lord to fill H's mind with thoughts of home. A few minutes later, H called. <BR>Fourth blessing: I found out the OW no longer works across the street from the jobsite. <BR>Fifth blessing: I went to the Christian Bookstore, found 2 books - "Listen God is Speaking to You" and a daily devotional geared towards improving your marriage. When I opened the devotional, it opened up to a page about how to pray for your unbelieving spouse.<BR>Sixth blessing: H came home happy, in a good mood. We had a nice evening together, talking about his day. Big improvement for us!<P>Praise the Lord, He is so good to us. SueB, I thank you so very much for your prayers. Most of all I thank our Lord for loving me, and taking care of me yesterday. <BR>

Good job Sister! When we look for Him, we see more than we ever think possible. <BR>I praise you Lord for your promises and for your faithfulness to your children. Thank you father for the many blessings AW received and for answering prayers so specific that no one can claim credit except for you. Continue to bind the evil one from this house and continue to stir a hunger and thirst in David's heart for the things of you. Put blinders on AW so that she sees only you Father and in awe of how you will heal this marriage. Thank you for the gift of the work partner who has been released from bondage and able to love David from experience. Continue to fill David's mind with thoughts of AW and an anxiousness and excitement to come home quickly to her. Fill his emptiness with your peace so that he doesn't need the alcohol to fill the hole that only you can fill. You are just the best dad ever! In Jesus' name, Amen,

AW,Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow!<BR>I am online for only a couple of minutes, we have company(A good influence for H-this friend of his(ours)actually goes to church-PTL!) and I wanted to add a quick comment to your post. I didn't know about your particular request for yesterday......well yesterday, my husband actually asked me to go with him (to the same person who stayed over last night and is here today)to help this friend with some things at a house he is remodeling.This was answered prayer that my husband actually wanted my company during the long ride, etc. Well I spent the two and a half hours we were there,sitting by the wood stove while they went about their business, so I thought want a perfect time to pray! So I took out my list of all of our names and prayer requests and proceeded to silently pray for us off and on for all that time.So glad I had the list(thanks to you.) Anyway, so glad to hear your praise report and know that God was again listening to us all.<BR>Last night we were in bed and H told me I was reminding him of how I was when we were first together.Glory be to God.<BR>Mostly I have been constantly reminding myself to put God first.It is working.So are our prayers.<BR>Let's keep up the God work,<BR>Love IJN,<BR>Joynicole
