Hi dear ladies of this forum,
As I stated in the topic title I need to get grounded here in this forum and in my relationship with God. I have neglected that much needed and necessary part of my life for too long.
I am trying hard to either stay in this forum or the recovery forum. There fore I need your help and prayers.
I was trying to wait until things settled down here with daughter Siobhan and her illness and situation with the baby. If I wait for that I will be waiting for what seems to be an eternity.
Basically what I am asking is for even one of you to take me by the hand so to speak and guide me through this wonderful book and alcamate me to this forum.
You are all in my prayers and I appreciate all the attention and concern you have showed me and my family in the past. Thanx for all of you being the wonderful women you are. Another one of the huge blessings in my life. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
------------------
God bless you and all of us. We are all going to make it, all of us! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif) With God on our side we can't lose! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif) What God has joined together let no man put asunder.
Samantha
[This message has been edited by A blessed Samantha (edited April 05, 2000).]

Samantha,
I am willing to mentor. You are so right when you say that if you wait until things are mellowed out with daughter, Satan will make sure that things never mellow out...
Write me
eramhoff@home.com

Ok, Sam. Here's my hand.
Do you have the book? If so, start with Chapter 1 - His Wife; it's message is profound. I felt like God was speaking directly to me when I read Chapter 1, so many thoughts of how I had treated and felt towards my H that were negative came flooding back. It was light the lightbulb went on -- I realized how much I needed to change, and that God needs to work in me and fix me first. I've got a looonnnnggg way to go yet!
After we finish going through the chapters of POPW, we plan to start over with the POPW Study Guide. I'm really looking forward to that as well. If you haven't gotten the books yet, Family Christian Stores carries them, as well as Amazon.com. I bought mine at Amazon, think POPW was $7.99 and the Study Guide was $4.99 or something like that. Thanks so much for joining us.
God's blessings to you Sam.
AW

SueB & Alcoholic's Wife
Ladies thanks for the responses and the "hand." I hadn't realized that any one responded to this thread. I had forgotten to check notify by e-mail. Please accept my apology on being late in getting back here.
Sue B
I will be taking you up on your very kind offer and e-mail you. I have just added your address to my book.
Alcoholic's wife
Yes, I have the book and have read most of it. Chapter one has had a profound effect on me. I realize like you that I have so far to go and it made it hard for me to continue on the other chapters in my prayer. We seem to need each and every one of them here in this house. Makes it hard to prioritize them.
I do not have the study guide yet. Need to get that. It will have to wait just a bit as there are no funds for me at this moment to purchase one. My checking account is dangerously low.
I will be studying chapter one again today and tomorrow. I have to devote time to this and set it aside. I was doing much better with time management before husband changed shifts. I seem to have an awful hard time with the opposite schedule thing.
I am kind of slow and maybe need remedial chapter one. Each chapter is so good that I need to go through them slowly. Time is an issue as I stated before so, I can't sit here and read all the old threads and posts.
Your guidance and patients is greatly appreciated.
AW by the way, how are you doing? We are doing pretty good. At least for the moment I feel that way. As you know moment to moment that is subject to change. LOL ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Again thank you both for your kind offers and attention. Greatly appreciated by me.

------------------
God bless you and all of us. I look forward to your email Samantha!
Father, draw this daughter close to you. Reveal yourself to her in a way that she has not seen before. Clear the clutter from her mind that she can peacably see how to manage her time so that her growth in you takes priority over all else as you have said seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. [34] Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Help her to focus on today, to seek you and to rest in the knowledge that you will take care of all other things. IJN, Amen
