Hi dear ladies
I don't post here too often, but I do lurk. I come to you as I always do in need of your help.
Some of you will remember my daughter Siobhan, or at least the story about her of last year. She is schizophrenic and this is the time of year when she goes into her pyschotic episodes. Last years was a doozey and you will remember perhaps her running away, and finally after many weeks of not knowing where she was she ended up in a pysch ward for four months in terrible shape until about six weeks after her son was born. She is now 19, was 18 when her baby was born she was 18. Fortunately in August she signed the adoption papers and the baby is being adopted by the foster parents. God does provide! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
She is on her meds this year for the first time in the four years since these episodes started to manifest in this way. She totally breaks from reality when this happens and sees people that are not there and hears voices.
She has been doing really well. She is on her meds. This is a hard time of year for her and is an anniversary of one of the last times she remembers of the sexual abuse that took place in her life from 13 months old to when she was 6 years old. Last year she totally flipped out and detached from reality right before our eyes at our families Christmas Eve gathering.
I am asking that you pray for a hedge of protection around her, that the Lord keeps her tortured mind together, and that she has a very happy Christmas. The holidays are tough on all of us, as most of us are feeling it here on this site. For poor Siobhan it is harder than any of us can imagine and now coupled with the fact that she knows she cannot be with her precious son, it will be extra hard for her.
So, dear ladies, please pray and do include what ever thoughts and words that the you or the Lord puts upon your hearts. My daughter has had very little quality to her life since she was 13 months old.
Thank you in advance for all your help though the nearly two years I have been on this site. You are all such blessings to me.
Much love,
(Sorry if this seems scattered and bit rambling. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] )
------------------
God bless you and all of us. We are all going to make it, all of us! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] With God on our side we can't lose! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] What God has joined together let no man put asunder.
Samantha
[This message has been edited by A blessed Samantha (edited December 21, 2000).]

Dear Heavenly Father; We ask that you will intervene in this situation as you have complete authority over A Blessed Samantha's precious daughter and her situation. You, Father know the heart and the minds of all and you know the way to heal her. We ask for your hedge of protection to encircle her and protect her from all attacks. We ask that you, Father, would heal and cleanse her from the pain in her past. Father, we cry out to you as our loving Father to intervene in this situation and to restore all that has been lost. IJN, Amen

Blessed Father, we know that you are always with us and that you know and love us in a way possible for no one else.
I ask you to be with Samantha and her family, especially Siobhan, now at this season and throughout the coming year. Hold them in your protection that all will go well and that peace will reign in their hearts and minds.
Father, I pray also for the doctors and others working with this family. That they will have wisdom in all the issues, psychiatric and psychological. That they will help make decisions with everyone's best interest at heart. That the guidance and information they offer be good.
May we never lose sight of you and your love - the love that prompted you to send your son to us. And may we remember that you, father, lever lose sight of us. Amen.

Samantha,
Father I lift Samantha and her daughter Siobhan up into Your arms. I ask that You wrap Your ever loving arms around them and ask the Spirit to wrap a hedge of thorns as a fortress around them. Lord this is such a devastating illness. We praise You that Siobhan is on her meds. We praise You for Your comfort and love.
Lord You know the direction and the path You are leading them down. Lord, You do not sleep or rest, but Your presence is with them forever and at all times. Oh, Father heal this young woman's wounds. Lord heal them with Your love, forgiveness, grace, hope and faith.
Lord, let them come not to dread this time of year, but because of Your healing and Your great gift of Your Son to us, let them find joy in their hearts. Father we ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Dana
Yes, I did change my name, back one of the times when the board did a bleep, I couldn't get on! My old name was Samantha-MI. Not much different, just with a bit of realization on just how blessed I am. I remember you and your old user name too. I like this one your using much better.
I am so sorry that you had to grow up with this disease in your life. You must have been so frightened as a child. I can't even fathom. One of the reasons I was so glad that Siobhan gave up her baby boy, so he can be raised by parents who aren't as challenged as she is (I know that's an understatement) and she can go on to have some quality in her life.
Thanks so much for the prayers and thoughts.
To the rest of you, I will be back, but I think it will be like I said after Christmas with a full report! Love you all! So much!
God bless you all!
------------------
[b]God bless you and all of us. We are all going to make it, all of us! Dear Lord, Thank You for Your love and joy in our lives. Lord, Thank You for being in Samatha's and her family's midst. Father, Oh Lord, I pray for mercies for Samantha and Siobhan. Lord I bring to your remembrance Your Word, "He shall give His angels charge over you; they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone!" Father I pray that You will give Your angels charge Siobhan and her family, protecting them from the enemy. Thank You Lord for causing those angels to lift Siobhan up so she will not stumble over a stone. Zech4:6 Father, please send Samantha an extra measure of Your peace, comfort, and joy during this stressful time. Help her, dear Lord, to stay focused on You. Thank You Father for Your divine intervention. Lord You are so powerful, almighty, and worthy of all our praise! I praise Your Holy Name in the highest. In the name of our precious Savior, Jesus Christ, I ask these things and pray, AMEN>
