I'm new to this site. D-Day was 12/17/01. I was suspicious so I got out my copy of Power of a Praying Wife and really started praying. 45 minutes a day while I was on my treadmill. I prayed for the truth to come out. One week later, my WH confessed to 3 affairs over the last three years. He was taking responsibility and asking for a chance for God to change his heart and save our marriage. I KNOW prayer works. Now the healing process begins. My Christian husband was in so much emotional pain the other night that he laid on the couch and cried...I got out my book and prayed those prayers over him. It calmed him down. We have HUGE things to overcome but I am grateful that my WH has a willingness to let God touch and change his heart.

tenderhearted,
You're right, there is TREMENDOUS power in prayer! God's Word does not return void. I am always in awe of our Father when he takes what Satan intended for evil and turns it to good. Your post was uplifting, it reminded me that I need to keep praying those prayers over my dh. You're in my prayers. God will bless you and your husband for your obedience to Him. Stay focused on Him.
blessings,
AW
