Stbx called this morning to see how kids were doing since they had no school today.
So I told her I didn't "feel" that she was being fair to me or our daughter in asking about the N.Y.E. party.
She immediately got all defensive and said she didn't know about the party, and why couldn't she come anyhow, how come I got to decide what the kids were doing.
I explained to her that she had left the family and that this was a family thing, so why would I invite her.
She said she just wanted to spend some time with the kids but she didn't know if she had to work or not. I told her she could stop at midnite and she said thats all she wanted to do anyhow.
So I told my daughter tonite and the party is back on. I don't think my stbx siad anything to her as she had promised.

And just in case, you thought things might get better today ! Then tonite my daughter just had to go get her mother to fix her hair. So I had to run her to the hospital, and in to see her mother, I made my son go too, and I just waited in the waiting room and didn't even see her.
And then the topper, when we got home , my daughter asked if I had a razor. I asked what for. She wants to use it, TO SHAVE HER LEGS!!
Do 12 yo need to shave their legs?????????????????????
I told her to speak with her mother and she asked what for ?????????
I don't know if she is catching on to her mothers act or not ?
Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi RWD -
You and RMA are cracking me up here..LOL!!!
You know - I can't remember how old I was when I started shaving my legs...geez I'm getting old and senile now!!!!
I know that she probably won't listen to this...but try to tell her to wait as long as she can because once she does it it's a chore that she will have to do for the rest of her life!!! The hair grows in thicker and she will have to keep up with it....

I'm glad that you were able to get NYE all straightened out - good to have it off your mind now.
You are definitely gonna have fun with your Daughter!!! EDUCATE ME PLEASE - I hate shaving!!!!
Sorry RWD, but this is important stuff here!!!! Definitely have her start with the wax then!!!!
HUGS,
Sheba
PS - NSR, you never know when things will pop up.....my "buddy" came at 9!!!
Oooooh, did I just scare you?
