I just wanted to share a bit of news with all of you that have been helping me and to offer some hope to everyone. My husband called this morning and has asked to come home. He has ended the relationship with the OW and says he will go to counseling, do whatever it takes. While yesterday he was so cruel and I was skeptical that I could ever truly do Plan A, we will hopefully be on our way. Amazing what a night alone in our house of memories all to be lost over a "close friendship" And this ironically is the first day that I have been sane. No crying episodes today and I feel very very strong. I felt this way long before he called so this was good. I knew that his asking to come home and begging for my forgiveness had nothing to do with my strength and resolve to lay low and be patient. Plus my appetite came back...ate breakfast for the first time, and even had some lunch [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
So I do have one question for all of you ...in the book Surviving an Affair it mentions that a vacation away from people is good. We have a trip planned for next week to Maui. He earned it through work, but we only have to attend one dinner and the rest of the week we are on our own, if we want. Should I consider going. I have been wavering and when this all came to a head on Saturday I said I would not be going. Should I chance it?
Thanks for all your words and prayers, I am still praying for us all each night.

Go! Use the time to rebuild good feelings...no LBing. I would not talk abt the affair...take a break if you can. Then hopefully you both will start counseling with your love banks better filled and ready for the task ahead!
Have fun..
Kathi

Yes go to Maui. Make it a second honeymoon, or first if you didn't have one.
Be sure to bring back souvenirs. It won't hurt to have some visual's of the good memories.

What a romantic setting for proving that you can be the type of spouse he needs to fulfill HIS needs! Remember, this is excellent time to make some of those deposits! God Bless and Aloha!
------------------
Chick's
Bren
You won't see things until your ready to not be blind!
