One thing that I have learned is that no matter what you do, if your h wants the contact to continue, it will continue. You may want to tell your h if the opportunity arises that the op h did call you. He obviously feels very threatened at this point about losing his wife. If telling your h would be a lb, then don't tell him. Remember that you are either depositing or withdrawing love units. At this point in time, you can't withdraw any more. Be very careful with your responses to your h. He is going to come crashing down. But that is because of choices he made, not because of you. Keep working to make yourself the best person that you can be. I wouldn't put too much stock in the ow tale to her h. You have no reason to believe her story over your h. Proceed cautiously!!

Hi Claudia,
I think at this point it would be better if you heard the story from your H. Only he can tell you where he is at and currently coming from. You don't necessarily need to mention the call from OW husband, but is that really going to matter at this point? Do it calmly, but get some real answers so you know what's really going on and what his true intentions are. No need to stay in the dark anymore, in my humble opinion. Praying for you! Good luck

Claudia,
I am willing to bet that if the OP H told you about the affair, he has probably already told his W about your conversation - who in turn has more than likely filled in your H.
He is threatened now and his purpose in calling you was probably to expose the affair in an effort to make it harder to continue. Why would he tell you without telling his W he had done so? Because he has your best interest at heart? I don't think so. He is to hurt right now. I think this is his attempt to end the affair.
I would tell your H about your call. After all someone has made some pretty serious statements here about him and he deserves the opportunity to respond. Approach the conversation as his chance to tell you the story from his eyes.
Maybe this is good. He can't run from this anymore. That is what it took for my H. He ran from the truth until he was finally caught and then yes he came crasing down. Lucky for me he crashed right back into reality and decided to work on our relationship. I hope the same happens for you to.
Being honest, is never a love bust. Verbal confuntation is but if your are loving, tellin your H the truth is always OK. After all you did not contact the OP H, he contacted you. Your H has a right to know this since the call impacts how you feel about him.
Hope this helps.
Acacia
