My exDiL has agreed to relinquish custody of the children to our son. They came home yesterday. The kids seem to be very happy about being with their dad.<P>Your continued prayers are and will be appreciated.<P>I had to edit this post to eliminate the URL I posted, which had nothing to do with the subject. Guess my copy and paste wasn't working too well, and now I can't find the update! <P>Anyway, exDiL brought the kids home to our son, and called yesterday to say that she was getting on a Grayhound bus and to let us know where she left the car (which we were planning to get back anyway, since it's in H's name). We found it where she left it, with the kids' clothes and toys thrown into it, and the transmission torn up. <P>Son saw his lawyer today, and she expects the judge to award temporary full custody of the kids to him on Friday. The permanent custody will have to wait until they go through the process of trying to serve exDiL, which they can't do, since she's on the run. So that means that there will have to be a published summons printed in the newspapers for three weeks before the final custody hearing can be held.<P>Please continue to pray for us--and especially for exDiL. I'm terribly afraid that she may turn up dead somewhere, either from suicide, OD from drug use, or from getting mixed up with the wrong man.<p>[This message has been edited by Sweetpea (edited April 05, 2000).]
