Today we are all going to get our Christmas tree today. I guess I'm suppose to pretend nothing is wrong. It has been over a week since the letter came.
camjon
talk later
see my story click sunglasses

Camjon - I remember the letter.
To tell you the truth, I would do exactly that. Pretend as if nothing was wrong. Enjoy the holidays, enjoy the traditions and Plan A yourself to death.
You can't force a confession, you can't force honesty and you can't force trust to come back right away. So, for now, during the holidays when emotions run high anyway, just show yourself and your H how wonderful life really can be.
If the letter is the truth, and it may well be, the feeling of family and love could turn the situation around. If not, then you're building a better marriage anyway.
All will come to light eventually. Take good care of yourself. This is not an easy place to be.
Sending good thoughts and hugs your way.
Lori

I agree with lostva, act if though nothing is wrong. that is what I'm gonna do. Tomorrow, the kids and I are going to her church, then I think tomorrow night we will all decorate the tree. She says she is not in the spirit to do this, but the kids need us to be.
------------------
brownphdt

Lostva,
Thank you for your thoughts. Thats exactly what happened yesterday.. We all went up as a family up in the mountains with a couple from my H work and got our tree. Lots of snow and very cold. I stayed in the car with our 1 year old it was too cold for him. Everything went pretty well I thought. Then we got home and confronted him with the fact he thinks life is just back to normal.. We did get some feelings out about the situation and the fact that I currently do not trust him. But I love him very much. He keeps asking if I still love him. I told him if I didn't love him it wouldn't hurt so bad. After I let everything pour out on him. I felt better. My H is not very emotional or doesn'nt like to show too much feeling. So he feels alot of things but just doesn't show it. Things are ok. We definatly need to talk more about what we feel, they just seem to build up then explode. I love the holidays, and I most of all love my H and my family. Thanks also to brownphd. Hope you have a great holiday.
Oh,,, buy the way. We got the xmas tree up. Guess what happened? I fell over last night. All 12 feet of it and 5 gallons of water. Is that a sign? I don't know. We just looked at eachother and we would usually start yelling at eachother about who was the stupid who put the tree up. Instead we started laughing. That's a good sign right?

camjon
[This message has been edited by camjon (edited December 05, 1999).]
