My problems began about four months ago. Prior to that, I have been living common law with my fiancee for almost four years. I thought things were great. She was wonderful, we loved and respected one another and we were doing very well financially. We own two houses together, we drive good cars and we are each 50% shareholders of a thriving business. I am positive that she was faithful to me up until about four months ago.
She began by going out to what she claimed were Girl's Night Out with her recently reunited girlfriend that she knew over 10 years ago from her high school days. I thought nothing of it, I trusted her with all my heart and had no reason to suspect otherwise.

[This message has been edited by vfung (edited March 19, 2000).]

Weekend are slow around here...you'll probably get more response soon. But I did want to say hello, and welcome.
There is lots of info available on this site if you decide you want to rebuild your relationship with her--I'd suggest you read it all. But, I am very concerned about your physical reaction--there is no excuse for breaking her arm.
Please realize that as much as this hurts (and all of us can relate to that), threats and violence are not going to improve anything, and will make things worse. Whether she will go or not, you should probably consider counseling for yourself to help you deal with this situation in a constructive way.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Kathi

Welcome vfung...
The circumstances that have led you here are of course not good. A few thoughts before giving you a post that is my general welcome to new people on the forum...
Your story is not unusual. In fact it isn't much different than most here… barring the "broken arm". Are you interested in really working toward winning her back? I'm sure your love for her is deep… that is obvious by what you wrote… but you need to take into context there is no formal marriage yet. You need also to ask yourself… Is she going to give you an opportunity to show you her love again. As a 50/50 partnership in your business there must be a lot of contact with her and that is good. This is a time to take an assessment of your life too!
If you really want to regain her love for you… read all we have here! After going through my welcome post… start on what we call Plan A… and then post your questions…! And yes… shorter posts will get more responses.
Now, I have a post of general welcome post I wish to share with you... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/cool.gif)
It has a lot of quick links to many of the most important MB sites...
Click here ==> General Welcome for All New Builders(Newbies)
For some clarity... a short time ago the "main" forum was divided into 4 separate "sub" forums...
Staying in the General Questions forum will give you the most responses! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Jim
