Well, I have searched for similar situations on here and have come up short. Here is what is happening to me. I am 8 1/2 months pregnant. My H had an affair with a coworker starting back the middle of March. I found out middle of May. By then it was the full blown emotional deep attachment of 'love never felt before', 'totally different from anything or anyone he's loved' , 'she is the ONE' all that crap that kills you to hear. It took him 3 weeks and me contacting the OW to get the full history and truth. My H and I have had a rough marriage according to him he was always 'not sure' about me or the long term committment. We have been married 2 years and 2 months. We dated a year and were engaged 9 mos. He tried to cut off all communication with the OW but they work together and they had such sneaky ways of contacting eachother. He couldn't do it. I asked him to make a decision between the baby, our family, me and HER. He moved out 2 days ago. Through this entire painful process I have always told him that I want to stay together, try and build on the great friendship and respect and teamwork we have and give this baby a chance at a typical home. I wanted to put the effort in I knew it would take. Especially from reading this site. The moving the new careers the total fresh start approach. Now here I am, ready to give birth in 30 days and he moved out. Gave up, chose her. What do I do to move on? To get over the pain and resentment. I am afraid it will affect me as a mom. I am also not sure how to handle his involvement in the whole birth and first months of life. I never thought him capable to abandon us like this. I worry that he will end up putting our child through 2 or 3 wives and numerous step children. Not to mention being an emotionally unavailable father. What should I do? Has anyone ever gone through anything like this pregnant?

Kira I'd like to suggest that you also post this over at the infidelity general questions II board because I do beleive that there is another pregnant woman there that is going thru something very similar, and she may be able to give you support and sound advice. Good luck and God bless.
