Cerri,

My husband left 6 weeks ago and at first told me he was leaving because he was confused and didnt know what his feelings for me were. 2 weeks after he left he called and wanted to come home, I told him he could and the next day was supposed to come home, well he never showed up so I called him and found out that he had gone out with a girl from work and lost his car keys, so had to get new keys etc. Then during this he confessed that he has had feelings for her for 6 months but never told her and was trying to work on it himself, but he found out that she had left her husband and they had share a kiss 2 weeks before he left me. So, he didnt come home, he said he realized his feelings for her are too strong. He has been so emotional for the last 4 weeks he cant get around me without falling apart, I have comforted him and wiped his tears, rocked him and told him I love him unconditionally and want him to come home and we can work it out. He always says that he cant.....he doesnt feel he has been in love with me for about 5 years and he likes the way he feels about this girl at work. She is about 10 years younger, no responsibilites, carefree, no kids to care for, etc. He says that the relationship with her has not lead into sex yet but alot of kissing and hugging. He is living with his grandparents and his grandmother tells me he is on the phone with her all night long. When the kids visit him, they say he is on the phone all the time. He says he doesnt think he can get over his feelings for her so he isnt even willing to try with me. They are planning on moving in together soon. I know I need to start Plan A, but I am not clear on am I suppose to just react to him when he comes over or I am supposed to initiate contact with him during plan A, and ask him to get together with me and the kids, etc. He constantly tells me he wants to help with the kids, house, etc as much as I need. He has been a wonderful man for 19 years of my marriage and a great father.....he has worked 3 jobs at a time to make our life better and we just moved into our dream house about 2 years ago. We have a wonderful 15 year old daughter and a wonderful 10 year old daughter and he has been very active in their lives until about 1 year ago.

Please help me understand more about Plan A...
I talk to him via email or Instant messenger at least every other day and sometimes I invite him for dinner if he is here tutoring our daughter, etc. Is this correct or should I stop doing that?

Plan A is where you start. You be sure not to LB, or make disrespectful judgements. It is very difficult. Don't call him or beg him. When he is around, just show him what a good marriage you two could have.

It is necessary to do Plan A for about 3 months, so you need to get busy. When you get stressed out, come here.

resaan,

cerri has very little time on the MB board right now. That doesn't mean she won't see this...only that it may take a little while for her to get here okay? Why not give her a call and make an appointment? www.saveyourmarriagecentral.com
