I found out my wife was having an affair for 6 months. She denied it at first, then came clean.
A week after finding out, we had a heart to heart talk and she admitted more than I thought she would. Shortly after our 2 hour conversation, we had sex like two rabbits and had it again the next night.

Is it odd that I am still sexually attracted to my wife after what she did? We are working on repairing the damage and going to counselling.

I'm not sure if it's "normal" to want to have sex with her after she had it with someone elso.

Thank you for letting me vent.

I can't speak for everyone, but I've been with my WH twice in the last 4 days. Due to issues I'd been going through over the last 5 months or so, I wasn't meeting this need for him (or myself).

Now I'm not doing it to make up for anything, but my WH is still the person I care for deeply. Sometimes I wonder if the true depth of love you have someone can overcome the deepest of betrayals.

montedero,
You are going thru what I would call the "honeymoon" period. I went through the same thing. During the honeymoon period you may have more sex than when you and W were newlyweds. Some MBers use the term "reclaiming your turf." Remember, though, the affair metaphor is a rollercoaster so what goes up may come down. I am 6 months out from DDay and I'm at my lowest point yet. Luckily I think I've hit bottom and only have upward movement.

Hope recovery goes well for you and that the W sticks to NC.
