This quotation from your response on another thread gives me an idea of your mental battle. It is a misapplication and/or misinterpretation of the passage in question.

Let me put it as succinctly as I know how to....if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior....ALL of your sins HAVE been forgiven, it is NOT dependant upon anything that you do or don't do. Unless, that is, you care to think that God is a liar and unfaithful to His promises and you haven't really accepted Christ. I didn't think so. So let's talk a bit, one brother in Christ to another, about your situation and how we can help you through this most difficult trial.

There are many other Christians here on the system who will gladly offer their insights and help also.

Know that you have found a place that CAN give you good and very practical help for this trial, not matter how dark things seem right now.

God bless.

Derick - It is miserable when you first start going through this. But it does get better. You cannot see that right now, but stick with us and you you will change.

I will be praying for you and your family. You are not strong right now, so lean on us, and the Lord.

I have completely forgiven my husband, and he is still living with the other woman. But forgiveness did not come easily, or quickly.
