LIKE I SAID I AM NEW AND NEED ADVICE. MY HUBBY AND I HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR ALOMST 12 YRS. MARRIED 2 OF THEM. WE ARE BOTH 28, TWO KIDS. ABOUT ONE MONTH BEFORE WE GOT MARRIED, MY HUBBY CONFESSED THE NEXT DAY OF HAVING A FLING WHILE BEING DRUNK. HE WAS GUILT RIDDEN AND HAS NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. WE WORKED IT OUT. ABOUT 3 DAYS AGO, A LADY WHOM WILL NOT IDENTIFY HERSELF NOR MY SUPPOSED "FRIEND" AND TOLD ME THAT MY HUBBY HAS BEEN CHEATING ON ME FOR A YEAR. SHE MENTIONED SOME OF OUR FRIENDS NAMES AND SAID THEY ALL KNEW ABOUT THIS, BUT THIS ONE PARTICULAR FRIEND WAS DEVESTATED FOR ME, BUT COULDN'T CALL HERSELF SO THIS LADY SAID SHE WOULD. IT HAS BEEN 3 DAYS NOW, I HAVE SPOKEN TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS, THEY HAVE CALLED THEIR FRIENDS, SAME THING. I HAVE TALKED TO HUBBY HE HAS DENIED IT. I HAVE TRIED TO GET THIS LADY TO GET MY "FRIEND" TO CALL ME WHICH SHE HAS NOT. SOME OF THE THINGS SOUND "FISHY" AND I DO NOT BELIEVE IT ALL. I AM TORN BECAUSE THIS PERSON IS NOT COMING FORWARD. SHE IS DOING MORE HARM THAN GOOD TO ME. THIS IS WAY OUT OF CHARACTER FOR MY HUBBY, LIKE ALL ARE SAYING, BUT HEY HE DID IT ONCE BEFORE AND THE TRUST IS NOT THERE ANYMORE. DO I LAY OFF FOR AWHILE AND WAIT FOR FATE TO COME MY WAY AND FIND OUT IF IT'S JUST AN AWFUL RUMOR FROM SOME WOMAN WHO IS OBSESSED, OR TAKE THE CHANCE OF BEING A FOOL AND MOVING ON BUT YET SOMEDAY FIND OUT IT WAS TRUE??? I HAVE NOT SLEPT OR EATEN IN THESE 3 DAYS I NEED ADVICE!!! WHY WOULD THIS FRIEND NOT LET ME KNOW WHO SHE IS IF SHE IS SO CONCERNED FOR ME? SADEYES24

Sounds to me that it might be the woman your H had a ONS with. Ask yourself, who among your friends would want to conceal her identity? probably none right? So that leaves the OW [other woman] as the prime suspect. You might want to consider that the next time she calls, that you call her bluff and tell her you know exactly who she is, and see what kind of reaction you get from her.

I think a bit like T00MuchCoffeeMan that it sounds so much like the OW who had a ONS with your H.
While your friends may not wish to bring up any gossip once you have asked if it was true then I'm sure one at least would say yes they had heard something.

Sounds more like a person wanting to disrupt & destroy your life with your h to me. From all I've seen here persons who do inform on real affairs give details, they want you to know everything.
Just be honest with your H and tell him you feel insecure because he cheated before you M & you feel this OW may be spreading lies to hurt your M. You both need to work on the trust issues or why did you M knowing of the A? You can do this and maybe confront this woman when/if she calls again for details etc <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
