My father is not a man of many words, but he said something to me when I was 16 and learning to drive. I was obsessed with looking in the rear view mirror instead of looking at the road in front of me. When he noticed this he quickly said: "Look where you're going, not where you've been".
At the time, I thought it nothing more than a catchy phrase. But what a great theory for BSs in Plan A!
Just a little tid bit to share with all.
BTW, been a good couple of days. W talked a little yesterday and I deserve a HUGE pat on the back for not only NOT love busting, but remaining calm, not "pouting" all night after hearing some things that of course hurt. (woo hoo)! I can't believe how much I love her!!!
Keep a stiff upper lip all [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Scarlet Pumpernickle

SP,
I'm glad that you had the strength to do that. I'm sure it will go a long way to restoring her faith in the relationship.
Thanks for your Fathers words of wisdom. As BS, we all need to focus on what is ahead of us, and try to leave as much of the past behind us.
Have a great weekend.
Rob
