OK, I know, I don't belong on Plan A/Plan B, but the boards are weird tonight (but we all know that!).
I just wanted some feedback on this new "wrinkle". I got a letter from my H's attorney today. Seems back on May 17, 2001, he sent me "forms" for an Uncontested Divorce, waited for me to sign them and send them back. FOR-GET IT!! Well, anyway, he is reminding me, and contacting me to "get my thoughts" aobut the forms, wants me to contact him within 15 days....JUST A LETTER....
I KNOW there is nothing "official" about this. Just a letter asking me to reply. What I don't know is: does anyone think he is doing this because it's been 2 months since he sent the other forms, and I ignored them, or do you think my H is getting antsy (or OW is!) and wants to "Speed" this D thing up. Anyway, I have NO INTENTIOn of signing anything, and I won't help him get this D - (certainly NOT without legal counsel first!!) and wondered if anyone had any ideas? I am planning to send him (H) a letter this week. You know, just a "thinking of you" letter. He moved out without so much as a HINT of trouble on May 18 and NOT ONE WORD since then.
BTW - we had one weird week-end....first I "saw" a vision of OW in the middle of my M, I was looking at a wedding pic and THERE SHE WAS!!! I commanded her OUT of my M!! I claimed it in the Lord's name.....then, I talked to my g/f. I told her about what had happened to me. SHE then said she "saw a vision" of my H, reprimanded him for treating me like SH*T, and commanded he "go home". And as if that wasn't weird enough, another g/f told me SHE had my H pop into her mind, and she, TOO, yelled at him for the way he was treating me, and "told" him to come home. Bear in mind, that before ANY of the three of us talked, I had NO IDEA the other two were having this "vision" - they don't even know each other! And here's the weird part: IT ALL HAPPENED AT THE EXACT SAME HOUR, ON THE SAME DAY (Saturday)!!!!!!
I believe, Lord!! I believe!!! Then the "letter" - either H got "pounded" on Saturday, and called lawyer bright and early Monday morning to rush things along, OR lawyer is acting on his own, just following-up his files, and it's all just coincidence, but not the part about H being "beat up" by my two friends! That really happened!! LOL
Can't wait till fog lifts and I can find out what the HEII went on that day!!! Something weird. I just figure the Mothership was hit by lightning.
Lupo

Lupo,
IMO, I think you should consult an attorney. Usually they will meet with you for free on the first visit. I have no intentions of filing (you may know some of my story), but I am so naive and clueless, I had to go and ask questions - like what to do if I get served. I think you need to find out. From what I understand, if the lawyer was serious, you will get an official doc. telling you that you have 30 days to sign and return, or else the D wil be granted by default. I'm sure all states are different, but that's how my attorney explaied it to me. So if the letter looks official and has a deadline, you'd better act on it or let and attorney look at it for you. Contesting is different than "refusing to sign". Please chek into it to protect yourself.
About the visions - I believe they were meant to be. An angel tapped me on the shoulder and told me to go look in my H's car when he was out of town - that's when I found the first evidence of something going on. Then a few days later, I dreamed that I confronted the OW, and the next day, my H confessed.
hang in there. We're here for you.
------------------
Faith1
"Then Jesus answered, 'Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.'"
Matt 15:28

I talked to an atty, and was told that there is NOTHING "official" about the papers I was MAILED....in order to be "official" they would have to be served to me in person. In fact, the addy is even WRONG on the envelope, so in actuality, I could even throw them away and pretend I never got them!!! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I honestly don't even think my H knows they sent them....until he gets his copy, then he will since there were copies sent to him too. But it's obvious that atty's secretary wrote and SIGNED the paper, just by the language, and syntax. I figure it's just a typical, follow-up letter that they send. The first one was sent to me on May 17. This one was sent on July 17. So, 2 months, no word? OK, let's send another one just to remind her about this....that's what I think anyway.
About the visions - I believe they were meant to be. H and I and a bunch of other people were in this house working, and H couldn't wait to leave (to be with OW), but anyway, at one point, this man (don't know who he was) said to me "are you going to deny you were with TOM and probably sleeping with him???" OF COURSE I AM!! I DOn'T EVEN KNOW A TOM?!!!!!! It was weird, made NO SENSE, excpet that I figure H must be trying to validate his A by trying to imagine or "make up" a time I might have cheated on HIM!! Sorry. Never happened.
Also, today, another vision, similar to last Saturday's. I was in bedroom, turned, saw pic of H and me taken at Son's wedding 4 years ago. H has this GREAT smile on his face! I laughed out loud, said, "Oh, H, you look so happy. I wish you were that happy again." And then I started crying UNCONTROLLABLY....I had a vision that he is certainly NOT that happy.
Well, I called my g/f to tell her. She's the first one who had an additional vision last Saturday too? Well, SHE says, "Well, hang onto your hat.....your H popped into my mind about 1/2 hour ago (Same time frame!) and I TOLD him, "GO HOME to your W!! She's cooking dinner, and you need to GO HOME!!! Stop hanging around with this OW, and GO HOME!!" All at the same time, again. JUST LIKE LAST SATURDAY!!! I mean, WHAT GOES ON on the Mothership on Saturdays at my H's site????????
