Not sure how many of you here know of my story but I was a regular over at the GQ II forum.
I went to Plan B on Friday, gave WS a copy of my letter and so far have heard nothing from her. Friday and Saturday I was feeling pretty good, felt like I had lifted a huge burden off of my shoulders, felt relief and released from all of the crap that I have been going through for the last 5 mos, felt pretty good.
But this morning I wake up and am beginning to wonder, was this the right thing to do, did I put the final nail in the coffin for our M. I'm sure it is normal to feel this way, probably should be worried if I didnt, right? I'll get through it, just hate the fact that I had to do this, but its probably better than continuing to be in the situation that I was in, the blatant lack of concern and disrepect was just too much for me to handle anymore.
So for all your Plan B-ers, a few questions to ask: - how did you get throught the first few weeks of Plan B, how did you deal with all the feelings? - how hard is it to stick to Plan B (I feel myself wanting to call her already)? - what kinds of things can I do to stick to my guns? - if (big if) WS wants to start talking about us, what course of action do I take.
Plan B is new to me, didnt think I would ever have to do it. So I am asking all my friends here for some help and advice. Thank you all in advance.
[ March 10, 2002: Message edited by: loveherstill ]

Kinda hard but rember the relief. K?
One step at a time. Keep busy. Make plans. Do stuff. When the WS wants to talk with you, you decide where and when. Remember you want her to bring it up. You want her to make the effort.
Talk with STeve or Jennifer about direction. It will be better. Kinda hard to with kids but it is possible.
L.

O-
Hard- yes, relief- definetly. Its just so sad that I had to go to this, there could have been so many better options. Even if W would have come to me and said "I love him, I want him, I want a D" it would have been easier than this, at least then I would know exactly where things stood, instead of the limbo garbage.
I plan on keeping very busy, staying active, cant let myself sit around and feel sorry, no, not me, made too much progress for that!
Hopefully WS does come around and want to talk, want to start to make some commitments to me. But, I am done putting forth the effort, its going to have to come from WS nw, I did my best, now she is going to have to Plan A me, win me back if you will.

Stay active. Don't allow yourself idle time. An idle mind and body is your worst enemy at this time. Explore new hobbies, meet new friends or strengthen the friendships you currently have. Build your support network. Try to remove her from your mind as much as possible by staying active. When I went to plan b, I increase my physical activities, I increased my attendance at church, I met new friends, I enrolled for graduate school, I applied for a new job, I cleaned out my garage, and I applied for the national guard.
Stay busy and focused on YOU.
