Dear WH,
As you know, I cannot afford the expenses of the children and the home on my own. I’m sure you remember the agreement we made in December 2003 that I would go to a part-time work schedule in January 2004 in order to take care of our children which is in their best interest. I know that you feel that it is in your best interest to move away from our home but that doesn’t take away your responsibilities that go along with owning a home with someone. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to jeopardize your good credit nor would I mine. As you also know, since your moving out of the home and my eye surgery coincided at the same time, this has lessened the ability for my eyes to heal properly. I have missed approximately six days of unpaid work so the children & I really need your assistance with these expenses. As I have stated for the past week now, the children and I would be happy for your return to the home whenever you are ready to work on our marriage.
Sincerely,
BS

Oh. What kind of a letter is this? If you need financial help, see a lawyer. Please don't take him back just because you need money. Make him earn his way back.

I have talked to a lawyer. I could very well manage on my own if I sale the house. How can I live here and not end the marriage or completely change things without asking for some more help from him? If I sale the house, he will want a divorce probably. What are my options? Refinancing back to a 30 yr mortgage? Me working two jobs? Just so he can support is own place? He is on the mortgage and this should be his primary concern. We have two babies that I have to support and have a home for somehow?

You are still very new to this. So who knows what he will do next? I'm kinda in the same boat. I'm keeping 2 households going, mine (and WH's) and my boys who are in college.

WH is spending all of his money on OW. So I think what will happen to us is divorce, because I can't afford this much longer. I have been managing for a year, but am getting worn out. If we sell this place, I will get half the money.
