Hey Gang,<P>I was playing ambulance yesterday. We had our butts handed to us in a sling. I had a severe case of flat a$$ syndrome from sitting in the drivers seat all day and night.<P>But, on to the point. We were coming back from a Philly hospital heading to the next pick up and I cut through town to gain some time. We were two cars behind one that looked like Vals buggy. Lately I see cars like that all over, go figure. Vehicle in front turns and I notice it is her. She turns into a shopping mall and I just drive past with an uneasy feeling in the gut. I haven't heard from her since last Thursday when I gave her the letter and card. I thought that WAS my reply.<P>We are almost to the next pick up and the truck cell phone rings. My partner picks it and says I think it's for you. Sure enough it's Val all happy and bubbly. She says I just noticed you were behind me and where are you going. Told her our desination and she said wait outside for a minute. I parked the truck at the ER and she was already there.<P>She was all smiles wondered how I was, how's my son doing in college, when does he go back, stuff like that. I asked if she read the letter and card and what she thought. Her reply was that she doesn't know how to take me sometimes. I said take me as your H that wants to show the woman I married that I love her and can treat her very well. She gets teary eyed and sees my wedding ring asking why do you still have that on? Because I am still married and commited to the relationship. I asked if we could get together and talk. She has classes M, T and W. She said TH or F. I got TWO nice kisses and a very sincere I love you.<P>Now, lets see if she calls and wants to meet and how well it goes.<P>I can still see the love in her baby blues. How could she not know it was me behind her? Not many cool people drive a big chartreuse vehicle with red lights and a hood that says "ECNALUBMA".<BR><P>------------------<BR>"It's not over till we say it's over! When I first saw the slant sides I thought the were the ugliest trucks around. Yep, they are so ugly I now own two. They move in and out of traffic nice.
