We have been married for 2 1/2 years and have a 10 months old baby boy. Since a year and a half we have been confronting troubles in our marriage, it seems that we are completely incompatible because every time we talk we fight . Our creeds (?) and the way we think about anything has become different, I am catholic and he does not believe in anything. He is always trying to convince me to forget my religion and stuff like that, sometimes i think i can do that but my believes are very strong inside me. The things we like to do are also different, so one day i have decided to do activities that we like separately and he was agree but it seems that this hurts him a lot and he cannot forgive me for that.
There was one day that my husband told me that he is not in love with me as he used to be when we married, and he cannot live with that emptiness anymore. It really hurts me because since a year ago i was trying to save this marriage.
So a week ago for the third time we were agree to divorce and he told me (as the other two times)that he is leaving home next week, he needs some time to look for a place to live. But he is still living in our home and i do not see and effort to find a place to live, we are still sleeping together . It is a strange situation because i feel that we are not a marriage, although we live together we have no sex and we do not talk about important things; we live as roommates (our finances are also separate). This situation is creating inside me emptiness and anger, because i cannot do anything for save my marriage (my husband really believe that our love will never comeback) or to be divorced (i think that i still love him a little).
He works very late at night and also weekends, so we are not living true relationship. What can i do? Do i have to force him to leave our house? Do i have to leave the house with my baby? I am so confused because sometimes i feel that still love him and sometimes i really want him to go away.
I am in the same situation but I am the hubby. My wife and I are catholic but we do not practice our religion, ie, we do not go to church.
She left me for the same reason you stated. I am working alone to save my marriage, I know I love her an my marriage is very important to me, eventhougth I did not showed it, do not know why. Maybe because she has hurt me so much, but I know she did not intended to.
My advice is do not give up. You can save your marriage if you want to. My wife did not work hard enough to save our marriage, but I did not too. I just take one partner to save the marriage, I strongly belive so, I am trying alone here because I belive so.
I hope you give me some input, because I hav no idea what to do, since she is stubern and confused. I belive sh regrets living me, but does not know how to back up. I hope it is a matter of time, so she realize what she is losing if she does not get strong enough to forget and forgive.
Your husband must love you, but he does not know that or he has forgotten he loves you, It happened to me. I do not know why something like that happens, but I forgot how much I love my wife. I guess I took her for granted.
Try to do the things you did when he felt in love with you. That will be enough, I am sure, he will show his love you.
Hope I help a bit, I will keep my eyes on this post.

Very Confused, please tell me how did you remember how much you love your wife? I am asking you this, because sometimes i think that if i go away he will feel so lonely that will remember our love but sometimes i feel that if one of us leave the house our relationship is broken forever.
All this stuff is confusing me so much and i have reach a point that when i use my head not my heart thinking of us, i find more reasons to be separate than to be together.
All of this is hurting me so much, i do not know if i have the strenght of go till the end without breaking into pieces.
But somewhere inside me tells me sometimes that i can save this marriage, it is a lot of work. How can a man forget and forgive? and remember his love again?
