We have been married almost 3yrs now. He has an adult daughter as do I but I also have a teenage son, teenage daughter and a preteen daughter. Husband was only child, he raised his kid until 4 then only 2 wks in the summer. Every mistake my kids do instead of dealing with it and then putting it aside it just keeps compounding. He calls my son names, my youngest stays in her room. Now he just waits for any mistake. The kids have rebelled by not wanting to do anything chores, rooms etc. They say if they are going to get in trouble any way why bother. Husband then says if they weren't such lazy slobs he wouldn't be angry. I called state hospital to have myself committed but they would not take me. I am caught in the middle deep depression I need help.

First, go see your doctor about your depression...that should be a top priority!<P>Then, once you are on a more even keel, you will have more strength & inner peace to deal with your H & kids issues. He needs to be more accepting and supportive, and maybe fromm his POV there are areas of respect that he does not feel are being met. How is your overall relationship? Can you two talk about these issues...maybe consider taking a parenting class together or something?
