Is it fair to consider smoking an annoying habit that your spouse must give up in order to reduce marital conflict? This is a sore spot that causes "withdrawals" from my love bank about 25-30 times every day --- now going on for over 16 years.

This is a tough one, and I have no answers. My H is a smoker for our entire marriage, albeit a considerate one. He smokes either outside or in one room next to a fan blowing out. Our problem is that now I think his smoking has caused him to have ED, and he's looking for any other cause besides that.
