Hi everyone. I haven't posted in a few days, but I had to tonight. I have had a terrible day. It started last night. All night long I dreamed about H's OW. I kept waking up, couldn't go back to sleep, finally go back to sleep and dream about her all over again. And they were nightmares. H and her together making fun of me. My kids liking her better than me and on and on and on. I got up this morning and felt terrible. Then H came to get the kids for the weekend. So now I'm lonely. I have cried off and on all day. I can't get OW out of my mind. It does no good to look forward to bed tonight because I haven't been sleeping well lately. I hate feeling like this. It's probably just PMS, but today has been so bad. Thanks for letting me vent guys.

------------------
Blessed be.
****************
Keridwen
Keridwen_7@yahoo.com

Maybe they can help?
I don't know.just wanted you to know your not alone.....I am here,if you want to vent.
Take it easy........have some warm milk....or some herbal tea....(that usually helps me.)
Gina

Keridwen7,
I'm sorry you had such a bad day [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Not too long after my H moved out, I also had trouble sleeping. I've never had trouble sleeping before. As a matter a fact, normally I could sleep through WWIII. My Dr. prescribed some great sleeping pills, and I only had to use them for about a week. After that, I was back to sleeping normally again and have been ever since.
I think all the stress involved in this mess just screws everything up, including sleep. Also, I tend to get more depressed when I don't have enough sleep. Maybe that is what is making things worse on you right now too.
Hope you sleep well tonight and don't have anymore of those icky dreams.
Tulip

Dear Keri
Are the nightmares a regular thing? Or just occasional?
I have had a major problem with nightmares (and I mean major!) since Dec. '98.
These things screw up your whole perspective. It's bad enough when we don't know what reality is in the daylight, but when the dreams interfere....
Tulip is right. The sleeping pills can break the cycle. My Dr. will only prescribe a weeks worth at a time. Lorazepam worked for me. You don't want to need them - just to break the cycle.
Can you do something silly to pamper yourself when the kids are gone? A good book, crackers and cheese and wine in bed, A bath with so many bubbles you can't find the water....
Thinking of you girl!

Been there many times and a guy. There are time the pillow is wet I cry so hard. I have many new friends and my family has been really supportive. I have been an antidepressent since she left and it really does not help. Most of the people in my life mean well but it is lot easier to say get on with your life. After 30 years she was my life. My best friend. I still think of her every day and pray for her. My eldest (30) told me that she is not "Mom". As far as we know there is no one else. she left her cat which is now my cat. This may have helped as I feel the cat was abandoned and so I bonded with her. I was feeling better this week because I have a puppy coming tomorrow. Then I saw her this morning and my life went back in the toilette. I won't lie and tell you fairy tales. It hurts like Hell. but one day at a time will ease the pain.
Norm
