Just heard from a friend whose w works where my x does. The scoop is:
The om has lost his job!
What makes this so funny, at least to me, is that my x was always thought I would lose my job. It got so bad that I quit even discussing my work. Truth is I never was even close to be fired. Why she thought that I never was able to find out. I feel that was a lack of repsect on her part. She used that I never talked about things against me too.
Well I guess things aren't so wonderful in fantasy land afterall!

RWD,
Was gonna say congrats, but that sounded too weird. I can completely relate, though. Anything that throws a cog in the wheel of affair bliss somehow boosts my spirits a little. A couple of days ago, I got a notice in the mail from my & H's bank. He had written a check to OUR account from his & OW's account (has her name on the check). Anywho, their check bounced and the check was returned to ME! I no longer use our joint checking account, I have my own, but my name & address are still on it. I thought it was funny! When I called H to tell him about it, he kept stuttering and sounded completely flustered. The "Real World" strikes again. And I thought Paradise was perfect. Too bad about his bounced check fee. Tee-hee [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com].
------------------
Blessed be.
****************
Keridwen
Keridwen_7@yahoo.com
[This message has been edited by Keridwen7 (edited June 02, 2000).]

hey Bob, I keep hoping for the same thing (it's morbid, but oh well) [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] The OM in my situation happens to be the CEO of a small business,
but I keep in very close touch with friends of mine who work there (and they're telling me the same old story: he's a b*st*rd of a boss, he has
a ridiculous temper, and they're ready to bolt for something else). Y'know, it's actually an advantage to know the OM and his business and to
have true friends who work there....I can see that the end is near to their utopian situation (ah ha ha ha hee hee hoo...that was insane laughter).
It's only a matter of time...
I'll say it...congrats on the OM losing his job; in our situation of deep valleys and small peaks, I know you'd take ANYTHING that resembles at least
a speed bump in their relationship! (as would I....)
theo

Bob,
I just wanted to say that I'm really, really sorry the OM lost his job........NOT! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I have a good story for you.One of my former supervisors who was new in my shop, started an affair with a young co-worker of mine. They tried to cover it up,but you know how fast these things get found out,(she told her girlfriend, who told another girlfriend, who told another girlfriend, and so on,and so on......).
Anyway, management frowns on these manager/worker relationships, plus the fact they were both married. It continued on for a while until someone ratted on him to his W.Then the [censored] hit the fan.
His W filed for divorce. Her H filed for divorce. He lost his nice house, half of his retirement savings, has to pay child support on his 4 kids, and almost lost his job for his philandering. He did lose his management job,got booted out of our building, and makes a lot less money.
Oh,he lost his girlfriend, too.I think she just liked his position of power.Later, she was fired for poor attendance.
So,what do you think the moral of this story is???
--Murph
Murph,
My x had gotten in trouble at work after we separated for acting like a teenager in heat while at work. She was counseled a couple times about her behavior. I should leave an anonymous message for them to monitor personal phone calls between her and him since they can't see each other at work any more (wha, ha, ha, ha)!
Bob
------------------
"You can't always get what you want! But if you try real hard, you might just find, you get what you need!"
Mick Jagger
