All,
I'll be heading for Ohio with my boys tomorrow to spend Thanksgiving there. I'm really looking forward to seeing my folks.
The situation here at home hasn't been too bad. I've been finding things to do and places to go in order to stay out of my wife's way. Thing between us haven't been bad though I still don't get much affection.
When I return that's when I'm supposed to move out for a while. I am hoping our abscence for a week will reverse that scenario. But if not I'm ready to go.
Yesterday at church I saw my wife filling out papers at a table. When I looked at the papers I saw that they were for couples who wanted marriage counseling. It hasn't been that long since she said she wasn't ready for any counseling. So, I view that as hopeful.
In the meantime I try not to bother her or cause friction in any way. I will miss her on the trip, but perhaps the time alone will help her.
I want to wish everyone on this forum a great holiday. Try to enjoy this time as best you can and see if you can take a break from the suffering you're going through because of a spouse. I won't have acesss to a computer so I'll talk to you all next week. God bless.

Bruce, I'm glad you can get away for a while without it being too traumatic for you and your kids. A visit with your folks will probably be good for you all... and your wife will have a short opportunity to miss you.
Let this holiday away fill you with peace and strength for the days ahead.
And I wish all here a peaceful holiday season, in case I forget to say that later. For all the Americans on this forum, don't eat too much Turkey this week, ok? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
terri
