Jim,<BR>That is kind of scary. I would say I had a "cool" marriage and we ended up divorcing after 15 yrs of marriage. I think my x's midlife crisis had a lot to do with it too.<BR>Bob

Interesting, We definately had a cool marriage most of the time. H is definately going through mid-life crisis now.<P>Jill

I have read some of Gottmans books and I am not quite sure how EMA fit into the picture. He doesnt adress EMAs specifically.<P>One of his predictors of if a marriage will work is if you have a memory of past good times with your spouse. Now we all know about memory loss in affairs, so I am not sure if that is fits with his predictors or not.<BR>Lora
