I am always getting mad at him for stupid things. I push him away all of the time. I have been out of work now for about 2 years, and I am a full time housewife and mother of four children. I am not used to being at home. I have always worked for a living. Now I feel like I am depending on him and that he has all of the control of my life. I don't know if that is why I treat him so awful or what? Please help me to realize what I am doing before it is too late.
Leisa
Leisa, it sounds like you may be suffering from depresson. Depression is often a result of life-changing circumstances such as losing a job. Unprovoked and/or inappropriate angry outbursts are a couple of the symptoms of depression. Counseling and/or medication might help a lot. Go see your doctor right away and tell him about the anger you are feeling toward your H.
Write again and let us know how it goes!
terri

dear leisa,
There is an excellent colume by the good Dr. on this page about controll issues in the Q&A section please take time to read it. I think it will give you some insight into your problem. As a side note: it seems to me that you and your husband need to re-read the policy of joint agreement because you do not appear enthusicatic about your present sitution. You really need to follow the rule of honesty and tell him how you feel. Only with true honesty good and bad will your husband understand that 1) there is a problem and 2) what you need him to do to solve it.
