I need to put together some things by tomorrow afternoon. I am looking for websites with downloadable pictures of monuments and logos. Symbols we recognize and know exactly what they stand for.
Are you with me?
Landmarks or memorials.
Stuff like that.
Any recommendations?

Start with the government. Search Yahoo for names, and you'll hit some freebies, I'm sure. You can run to Best Buy, Circuit City, ot whatever and get a CD full of images for $10, if that's doable. You'll find something there...Oh, try this, go to pepsi.com, move your mouse over the logo, right click, and save the image to your hard drive. Okay, I just did that...on the opening page, there is a Pepsi logo in the navigation frame. Put your mouse over it, and a tool tip will appear saying 'Pepsiworld'. Just right click, and select 'Save picture As...' Remember where you saved it. That one is called 'nav_top.gif', and contains the Pepsi logl, and some of the navigation frame, but still its Pepsi, no doubt. Think of others, and do the same. That's free. Take care, feel free to post questions like that in 'waiting_for_her'.

Hey Princess,
If you just want the pictures, you can go to sites like Mount Rushmore or Yellowstone, and just put the curson on the immage and use the "save picture as" process described above.
Prayers and stuff
Bumper
