A friend of mine told me today that lawyer's fees after reconciliation don't have to be paid.
My husband's lawyer has sued him for nonpayment of the fees that she sent after that reconciliation. Do they have to be paid?

I'm no lawyer, but if the fees are for work actually done, then I believe payment is owed.
Reconciliation can result in a lawyer owing its client money, if the client has paid a retainer and the retainer has not yet been used up. I wonder if that's what your friend was thinking of? But that doesn't seem to be the situation you are dealing with...
My H filed for D on me in April- put down a $1500 retainer. Then cancelled the divorce a day later. He got back $913 from the attorney- the remaining retainer money minus the filing fee, paper prep work, phone call fee etc. Try to get an itemized list from the attorney showing what fees have been incurred already.lifeismessy PS I coulda gone on a shopping spree with that $500!!! OW pressured H To file and then he came to his senses
