Mine is obvious too: Not Heard. If that is a feeling, that is how I feel. I have always thought of myself as a good communicator - but yet people on the other end of the conversation don't seem to get me. I am learning a lot about Boundaries and it seems I know a lot of Boundary Busters. I set the boundaries and others break them. I use to laugh (in disbelief) because my stbx does the opposite of what I want. If I want to work on the marriage, he doesn't. If I want a divorce, he wants to work on the marriage.... one of many examples. Sometimes I just need affirmation. I say I feel sad because my husband ignores me and people will turn it around to say, what do you do wrong... you know sometimes I just want people to acknowledge my mind, my feelings, my reality and say "I am sorry you feel sad because your husband ignores you" ....

mine is sort of an acronym that stands for "In dedication of Stylin". Stylin is my dad's middle name. He died in December 1998... He was my ideal man...

Mine is as close to random as you can get.
There was a pitcher for the Washington Senators in the 1910s and 20s named Walter Johnson- his nickname was "Big Train," mostly because of his blazing fastball.
In college, I had a friend whose father was named Walter Johnson. Just to mess around, we called him "the big train."
Many years later, I had a cat whom I named Walter "Big Train" Johnson, just 'cause it tickled me to call across the room "Big Train! Come here, Big Train!" and have this black-and-white dustmop come running up.
(My family tends to name animals strangely. My Mom has a cat named "Psycho Kitty from Hell." You should hear her stand on her front stoop and call "Psycho! Here, Psycho!")
Later, when I first got my AOL account and was picking a screen name, I tried to use "BigTrain" and it was rejected. There was a rock band from Milwaukee, where I grew up, called "Da BoDeans..." and I must have recently listened to one of their albums or something, because it occured to me to add "Da" to the front of "BigTrain." It was accepted.
Ever since, when I've had to establish a username of some sort somewhere, I use DaBigTrain for convenience- I don't have to remember anything else.
So, it essentially means nothing. No one has ever called me "Big Train," except on line. Not that I'd mind, or anything, but I'm actually tall and skinny, and don't look much like a "Big Train." In fact, for a while, my nickname in real life was "Mad Stork," which was my mother's description of me in a football uniform... but I digress.

Hi dabigtrain,
It's 10pm here and I've worked hard all day, so can I ask you not to kick me at the moment? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
The only things I need to sort out are in my girls' bedroom anyway, and I can't do it when they're asleep. So...I'm browsing before bed.
Have a good day!

My initials are LST and I tried to fit them into a short phrase that expressed where I was at - asking my H to try to work on our marriage... I'm feeling more like a LoSThope or a LaSTtime or a LotSTolose or a LaSTchance or a LesSTravelled... oh well, that's my story.

Bumper came from a novel by Joseph Waumbaugh titled the Blue Knight. It was about an old time cop who had stayed on the job for too long. His wife had left him, his youth had escaped him, he had just gotten too old and his butt was rumored to be two night sticks wide. My first name here was "Crazy or What". I felt like I was nuts for even trying to save my marriage after what my then H was doing to our family.
After the second seperation I knew my marriage was over so I decided to try something a little more fun so that is why I chose my nickname which is Jillybean. I just added my age for the heck of it. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
