If any of you are like me then the holiday season is going to be perticularly tough. Many of us are splitting children or won't be able to see our children. Many of us are grieving the loss of our marriage and the idea of having the holiday's alone.
Well during this time of "Thanksgiving" I ask all of you to truly think of all the things that you have to be thankful for and focus on them rather than the negatives.
I will keep each and every one of you in my prayers and ask that y'all do the same.
Hugs, Thoughts, & Prayers from Kansas

Thanks so much Bill. I am trying to concentrate on the positives these days. I have a lot to be thankful for even if my marriage is over.
So far Thanksgiving is planned out and should be ok. I've got 3 family dinners to go to and my H used to hate the hassle of packing up and going from house to house, etc. In fact my H is not a very social being. He didn't really like to go to his own family gettogethers much less my families.
Yes, Bill, I do have a lot to be thankful for and friends like you are high on that list. I truly appreciate your support and prayers over the past several months. I pray the Lord blesses you endlessly.
Have a great one! Lynn

Thanks Lynn,
Sounds like y'all are going to be busy. I hosted my families thanksgiving last Sunday. I ended up with 46 people and we all had a blast. Like your hubby my X was not very social so I really didn't miss her not to mention she couldn't cook so I never expected help in the kitchen anyway.
More than ever this year I am looking at all that I have to be thankful for and I've realized how truly blessed I am. I have health, happiness, 3 awesome daughters, a friendship chain that won't ever break, and an extremely supportive family. What else could a man ask for?
Y'all drive carefully and enjoy the festivities.
