We've been married 18 years.<BR>7-8 times a week. This was the norm for years, went thru a bad period where communication & sex were both less frequent, now communicating well & back to daily sex.<BR>

My SO and I have been together for 2 extremely happy years. We have a great relationship. Our sexual routine occurs about 6-8 times a month. We may go two weeks without having sex and then we'll have sex three days in a row. But that's normal for us and both are satisfied. We do not feel we have any problems in that area. So, it's different for each couple. The only time I think a problem occurs within a couple regarding sex is if one partner feels they are not getting enough or if one feels they are having sex too much. Seriously... I was reading that, according to the Kinsley studies, 2-3 times a week is average for couples in their 20s and 30s; frequency declines in the 40s and thereafter... Sounds like most of you guys are way above average...???

quandry...<BR> My H and I are in recovery now...working hard to communicate & meet each other's needs...you would've gotten a different answer a year ago. <P> I think on MB you probably have an unusual distribution...at one end, folks who are working hard on using the MB principles and seeing some success...on the other end, folks who are trying to use MB principles, but not yet getting much help from their spouse. Married 17 years...sex MAYBE 30 in those years. Last time was over 5 years ago and the time before that was 5 years before that. Daughter is 14 and we've had sex twice in her lifetime. All this and he's had an 2 year emotional affair, and I had a mother in law who hated me and told me I was not welcome in her home. He wouldn't stand up for me when it came to his family. Now I've learned that all this time he's lied about his age, his activity in school, and who knows what else. All the while sitting with me in church each Sunday and shaking his head and looking at me when pastor talks about particular sins such as submission. Whew! I believe when you get married that it's a vow to our Heavenly Father. I believe it would be well with God if I left.

I should note that this is my first post. My H and I have been married about 2 years, and while we are young -19 and 20-, we only have sex about 2-3 times a week. Suppose we can blame the 11 month old for that, huh!!
