My husband and I have been married 4 years. We are at a point where we have decided not to have children. He is considering having a vasectomy. We have many personal reasons for not having children, but wonder if it is wrong not to have children. My husband was raised Catholic, so we are really unsure if this is against God's teaching or just the Catholic church? Help. TIA.

You mentioned that your H was raised Catholic. I guess your H is concerned about how your decision works with God's plan for married couples. If he still participates in a church or not, he could consult a priest, maybe one recommended by a friend. Priests will make appointments just like a doctor or counselor for private visits. This priest would give him better understanding of the Church's teaching about marriage and children, considering your reasons not to have children. It sounds like you two have given it serious thought, so before you make fairly permanent decisions, it would be worth the time to take this additional step. I hope you find God's will. I'll pray for you.
