When I was in H.S. one of the local sports stars went hunting with his friends. They all got drunk and he ended up shooting himself in the ankle. He didn't get to go to college on an athletic scholarship, and he still limps.
I made the decision to quit hunting about 15 years ago while I was laying flat on the ground, listening to the bullets go by. I'm sure glad that idiot was a bad shot.
