Don't know how many are in the NE but man is it snowing out! I'm going sledding with neighbors at 7 p.m. Too COOL! There's a nice hill on the property of an elementary school just down the road...parking lot lights keep it lit enough to enjoy a downhill ride!

Just to spoke to W for about 35 mins. but who's counting...ME! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Can't put into words how warm and enrgized I am, just to talk to her. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> ? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

We shared some healthy (about me, about you stuff) and some unhealthy relational junk, yet I feel cleansed, pure and another part of me feels healed just to share and talk.
In some way I hope and pray always for her continued healing and recovery. I know my words mean nothing at this time if ever, but I still share my remorse, shame and sorrow with her. That's where healing enters my soul. Sharing with boundaries (something I never knew of), I can confess, repent and still feel whole. I can own what I was and can maintain focus on the things ahead. I can't dwell on my past because I know it will spiral me and that just isn't healthy in order for me to continue to grow and flourish in the Lord!
So I let it go, perhaps it's Christ's strength in me!
I don't want this to sound selfish and as though I don't own what I destroyed in my M, but my past behavior, after I would emotionally engaged with W, would invariably lead myself down a path of chaos and destruction with EA's, PA's etc. because I would go away from that contact with her without balance! Not feeling whole! Today and after our conversation I have balance and see very clearly. I love her dearly and will continue to love her, but recognize the pain and am willing to pay the piper (Sauron)!

In Christ's Name!

We have alot of snow here in the Midwest as well. About 6 or 7 inches. Got my boys today at noon, and stayed inside all day with a fire going and opened and played with presents. We are going to try to find a hill around somewhere. This part of the midwest is so flat, that I can feel the breeze when someone sneezes in Colorado.

By the way, I am originally from Colorado and the fact that I grew up actually in the mountains, I mean IN THE MOUNTAINS, makes it hard to think about the 'skiing and sledding' that is done here. haha... I guess that all it takes is a little bit of elevation and snow. Maybe I can find an unused overpass on the interstate hahaha.

Take care everyone and Happy Holidays. Hope you all have a great time and a better year next year than our last. I am planning on making it so.

I love the freshness that new snow fall brings, the crisp air(sharp to the nose but clean)...cleansing and pure. I can't wait to walk down the Avenue of Pines (Saratoga Springs State Park in NY)later today...AWESOME!
Attempted to sled last night with neighbors but it was to powdery...we have to wait for the "kids" to groom the hill today so we can go this evening.

Have a most awesome day, ALL!

I'm jealous. I'm starting to think we will never have snow. We have a dusting of it, which left patches of white with the brown grass sticking out. And it is starting to melt. This is one of the warmest winters I can remember.

I live in MN, we are supposed to have snow. The only place I saw snow was when I drove by one of the ski slopes, and they made their own.
