A Mercedes. His mommy bought her baby boy a new Mercedes. My ex apparently turned in his leased Lexus and leased a Mercedes. Must be a guy thing because I happen to love my Honda Civic and wouldn't dream of driving a Lexus or Mercedes, even if I could afford one.
He totally pissed me off today because I told him that I needed to do my work today because he had study groups all weekend and he told me that he would be back at noon and he didn't get back until 3:30 when I had an appointment at 4 p.m. and when I called him to ask him when he was coming home, he told me that if I didn't stop calling him he would call his Attorney and charge me with harrassment!
Just wondering if this could hurt my chances later of getting CS once my ex starts to work. He could say that he can't afford to pay CS because he has to pay off the Mercedes, even if his mommy is paying it off for now. What are your thoughts? [ March 03, 2003, 06:47 PM: Message edited by: babytoluv ]

B2L,
I don't know how it is in FL, I know in MN, or at least I was told that, they do not look at things such as that. They look at BASIC living expenses, and a Mercedes is not considered Basic Living expenses. My H, when he wa paying me child support had to take classes for his job, and they would not consider the expense of the classes. They told him to find a way or get a second job.
