As you can see on my sig line, I can feel the pain that you are going thru. It hurts like he!! watching someone kill themselves slowly knowing that there isn't a thing you can do except pray. They have to hit thier own bottom and many never do. Sorry that you have to go this, it's not something that I would wish on anyone.
Have you gone to alanon? It poo poo'd it for 17 years and finally went for me last July at the urging on some on these boards. It turns out it was the best thing I could have done for myself and our kids.
The MB principles are great, but they aren't so effective until the person is clean.
