I recieved copies of papers from my attorney today, stating that my ex's attorney is officially withdrawing from the divorce and/or any criminal cases at my ex's request. The divorce was final Dec. 2nd. Does this mean anything to me?
On a side note, my ex is frequently parked in front of my workplace lately and coincidently, there is an attorney's office there, so maybe that's his new attorney. Again....should I care?
Maybe I worry too much.....but I really don't trust him.

You should forward this information to your attorney. If any issues come up in the future, your attorney needs to know who to contact.
If your divorce is INDEED final and you see your ex at another attorney's office, he is either in trouble with the law, or he is trying to re-open the divorce case for some reason.

My attorney is the one who sent me the papers stating that he's not using that particular attorney any more. Nowhere is it stated who the new attorney is.
He did have to go to court for violating the no contact order, I think he may be appealing. But I hate speculating and guessing....how can I find out what's going on, since there's a no contact order and I can't ask him.....not that he would tell me anyway.

aren't court proceedings public record - and since your children are directly impacted by criminal charges or legal wranglings around criminal charges, you have a direct interest in finding those things out. Ask your attorney about GRAMA and how to find out what he's up to.

You could call and ask him. That'd be the easiest most mature thing to do.

I'm not being immature, i'm following the law. I just want to be prepared for any curves he throws at me.

Annavon-
Maybe you are getting yourself worked up over something that doesn't even affect you. If he is in trouble ON HIS OWN, then he needs to handle it. I would just try to ignore his trips to his attorney for now. If it does involve you, you will find out soon enough. If your attorney is any good, he/she will be able to advise you wisely.
