Hi All,

Wow everytime I log onhere which isn't very often there is many new names. A few who are familiar but most of the old timers are gone.

I just want all of you who right now feel like your life is over and that you will never be happy again to know that time does heal. The right person eventually comes along, and you will be happy again. The hurt will never totally go away but will go to a less obviouse spot in your heart. You need to find yourself now. You need to discover the strength that is there and yes, become a little selfish. Do things you like to do, eat what you like to eat ect. This site taught me many many things that helped me make it through what was the worst year of my life. When I look back on it now it is mostly a blurr that first year but I survived and became a much much stronger person from it. I now have a man that I truely adore, love and respect. I am truelly happy not just because of my love but because of my own strength. I for the first time in 38 years know who I am and what I can accomplish. I guess what I am trying to say is don't dwell on this and let it ruin your life. Take this opportunity to find yourself.

Go outside and look at spring around you and like the season take this opportunity to grow and develope into something beautiful and new.

Jill,

I think it is an exaggeration to say that the right person eventually comes along. I am trying really hard to think of friends, acquaintances, or neighbors who have been remarried after a divorce, and am coming up almost empty - especially among those who have children at home. I can think of quite a number who have remained alone for decades though. Oh, actually, a neighbor up the street did remarry after his wife ran off with a neighbor down the street. Then, his new wife, who apparently hated his kids, tried to kill him. The only good part was that the adulterers' marriage didn't last either.

Jillybean!!!

Glad to hear things are going so wonderful for you

I also know many people 'our' age who have divorced and moved on to meet wonderful new people..and who have re-married and are happier than they were in their previous marriage..

are the marriages 'perfect'? well the question is what do you deem perfect...for them their marriages are perfect..not that there are no disagreements, but they are able to talk about them and work through them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
