Just wanted to let all know that things went well today!!!

Had way too much food!! Left overs yippee!!

Had a very nice party after the graduation, asked OD friend to grill the meat on a sticks for me, I was way busy with drinks and people, he started but I went out to see how things were going and x is on the grill, said thanks I appreciated the help!!

He avoided me most times!! Kind of fun to watch him dodge me. Did not ask to stay in the basement, is in a really cheap hotel in town. Tourist season kicked off this weekend so hotels wnet up about $30. Says that he will be out in the morning to see the kids. Hasn't been anywhere on time this weekend!!!

Asked YD if she got to spend enough time with her dad said yeah but he wasn't here to see her but OD!!!

All in all it was a good day!!!!

Dawn,

Glad you made it through.

We do this Friday, till last Friday it was still in doubt if he graduate; however he did just enough to pass English. Thank you Ms H.

I'm not giving a party or anything. OS doesn't care but I'm having a hard time dealing with it all. Because of everything I feel as if he is being cheated but as long as he does see it this way, I guess I need to get over.

Glad again everything went well for you.

Thanks to both of you!!!!

Estes, She did three college classes this winter semster. She is hoping to get on at school as an aide 7:30-3:45 great hours!!! And then she wants to take vo tech classes this fall for her EMT, she is already a lifeguard! She says that she'll get back to college in the winter semster. She thinks that she wants a Polly/Sci degree!!!

Sing, Jo didn't really want a party either but I wanted to do it, and she allowed me to!!! She did a very good job being a hostess!!!! I was so very proud of her!!! I had those fears of my son not graduating a couple years ago !!! This is the kid that has the IQ of a genius, just didn't get it that he had to turn in the work to get a grade!!!!

Dawn,

Your S sounds like mine, if it wasn't for notebooks checks, & homework he be in the top 10% which is a big deal in TX, instead well at least he is not in the bottom 25%.

That is the sad part of not having a party for OS, is that before dad's A our whole life was our church & well things just didn't go well. The nicest way to say it is I didn't keep our friends (their not H's either) & OS doesn't believe in church at all anymore.

Now just to get through Friday, get him to finish an college application & maybe I will still be sane

Congratulations Daybreak!!

Isn't it a teary eyed event...I was so proud last year when Meg graduated. Next year will be looking forward to Mandy.

Glad things went ok for you. I am truely amazed by your courage--don't think I could invite my X and his OW even next year at this point. Maybe time will heal....but not yet.

Last day of work today....Yippee...I still have to come in tomorrow to finish up on some folders.

Just thought I would say Hi and congratulations. How neat!! Pat

Hi daybreak!

I am back on line at home....yippee. DSL too...so don't have to worry about a phone line. This will be fun.

I hope you do come to Warrensburg or KC...would love to visit. This has been a long journey for both of us. Somedays I don't feel like I am out of the woods yet...I still miss my marriage and family....but I do have a lot.

I am still seeing that great guy....he has been such a help. The kids love him too...part of me likes my independence tho...so who knows.

My oldest daughter moved home for the summer...it has definitely been interesting. She wants to stretch her wings without any of the responsibilities. Part of growing up I guess.

I will try to ck in occasionally this summer--I don't think I have your email addy. Pat
