I made up my mind last week that I wanted to separate, but have recently put pen to paper and calculated my income in vs. my bills out. Although it will be difficult and I will probably down the road need to the sell the house and get something smaller in order to payoff credit debt and lower monthly payments, this is feasible.

So, no more shopping, no more unnecessary purchases, but in my future... no more sleepless nights, no more unnecessary stress <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

I'm going to make it and even before I can get him out of the house, I am going to pay all these bills by myself, because I know that if I allow myself to use his money, I will not be disciplined enough to not rely on him.

Alright-my personal pep rally is done for the time being, and I'm feeling confident and capable, yea!

Do you go to Al-Anon?
If not, you should find one in your area to help YOU deal with his drinking.

Thanks, I did go to Al-Anon a while back, but did not care for it.

I have a support network of family and friends, and am making a point of taking care of me.

It's great you have a support network.

Do you have a support network/group to help you deal with the alcohol probs?
