That is the question. Whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous cruelty and animosity, or to take arms against a sea of lies and deceit and by divorcing end them. To divorce. And by divorce we mean to end the pain and the thousand unnatural shocks our flesh are heir to in an adulterous marriage. To put to an end. To be dead. To die. Aye! There's the rub. For in this death to a pain-ridden marriage what newness of love may come. What joy awaits! Tis a consummation devotely to be wished. Tis a consummation devotely to be wished.

In the smoothness of your imabic pentameter...your pain and mental anguish come through. It takes a long time to let the death and grief of this loss to stop drowning you. I'm still awash in regret and remorse at the things that led to my upcoming Dv, but God has been with me through it all. I tried for a while for a noble reconciliation after my W's A, but that was not to be. I had already done too much damage to our M.

For me the answer to your question, came to me as I was drawn closer to God. Through daily devotion and submission of my life to his will, I saw what he wanted me to do, and peace and blessing have come to me as I move in this direction. It is painful laying to rest memories, plans, and dreams, but they will some day rest and haunt us no more.

My suggestion...draw close to God, read his word, and pray about submitting yourself to Him. I pray everyday that God will continue to make me into the man that he wants me to be, irrespective of the pain and cost. I nearly demand it of God. And it IS scary to earnestly seek these changes. But he has been faithful to me and he will be to you as well.

Best wishes.

Hmm. I reading Richard II right now. I'm working toward Hamlet.

However, did you not in your soliloquy answer your own question?

And you know perfectly well <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> that no one here will tell you the answer to that unless it your spouse is an axe murdering child abuser.
