My mom, my friend Sandy and I took an older lady from our church out to lunch today and we went to the assisted living home where she lives and as we were leaving someone said how nice the home was and Virginia says "yeah these are to be the golden years, the only thing golden is your urine!"

I about died and knew that we were in for a fun afternoon. We had a ball, she had lots more little tidbits to share. She has very positive attitude about her life and getting old, she's laughing and I thought I want to be like her when I get old!!!!

Just wanted to share, I found it quite funny!!!

Update:

She is moving--next week-- with her dad, rent free. She feels free and says that she unlike most folks, has the balls to jump off the ledge. If she flies, it's worth the risk. If she smashes to the ground, at least she had fun falling... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

She is so angry with me that she hardly could get through our logistics conversation tonite. You would think that I divorced her.
