In a nut shell, H has had PA/EA for the past year plus. They are very serious, feel they are soul mates. I found out about it about a year ago, husband on the fence, confused about what he wants, etc. Asked him to leave house 9 months ago to figure things out on his own. He said affair was over but he needed space to figure things out. Found out a couple months ago affair continued the whole time. Filed for D a couple months ago because I told him I wouldn't put up w/ sharing him w/ another woman. As long as she was in the picture I was continuing w/ the D, but that the door was open if he would do the "right thing" here and now. He told me he broke it off w/ her so he could decide, and of course they got back together. In some ways he seems to be coming out of his fog and into reality. He's starting to be more remorseful and taking responsibility, but he just is totally addicted to the OW. Part of him wants to fix the marriage, and the other part of him thinks the roadblocks are insurmountable so he leans toward the easy way out, the OW. Do I push back the divorce at this point and give him more time, or do I say its impossible and move on. (divorce will be final in a month) I just have this overwhelming need to give it my all, especially since we have kids, but I also want to be realistic and get on with my life and not drag on this Hell any longer. Any words of wisdom?
