My wife filed for divorce 2 months ago after I admitted to being addicted to pornography. I recently gave my life to Christ and I'm living for him now. She has put a wall around herself, telling me she doesn't believe me and when I beg to her she gets angry and does't want to talk about working it out anymore.

Has any been through this and if so what can I say or do to convince her that I am sincere and wanting to earn back her trust and forgiveness?

It makes me really sad because we've had some incredible times in the last 3 years. While it has seemed like we were going to make it, now that hope is very dim. Nevertheless here is what I would say to you. Stop begging and take action. If you are not in counseling, get into it. If you are not involved in sexual addiction recovery, find a group and attend devotedly. Take the actions to address your issues and love your wife. That won't guarantee anything but it gives you the best chance. Doing the next right thing over and over again instead of acting on your addiction will, gradually, make you a trustworthy person again. By God's grace, maybe your wife will see it and respond. I know you are sincere now....I've been there....it is the sincerity of crisis and desperation. Not a bad sincerity at all (some never even get there) but not the kind of sincerity to make you trustworthy again. Dr. Harley writes about 'just compensation' rather than forgiveness. Read here Forgiveness vs Just Compensation in Marriages rocked by infidelity

Desperate I know your pain. I hope things will turn out better for you than they seem to be turning out for me.
