Hey guys. I know I haven't been around much, but I HAD to tell you this! GUESS WHAT?! (Gather around now) The OC IS NOT MY HUSBAND'S!!! The stupid B thought that by taking my H to court, she would scare the pants off of him, but he actually stood up to her and asked for a DNA test. She backed down and told him if he didn't want anything to do with the child, she wouldn't push it or make him pay support. He got suspicious and insisted on knowing the child's paternity. Finally, it all came out! HAHAHAHA! What a crock!
I know he still did the deed. He is still guilty, guilty, guilty. I am not rejoicing because it gives me a reason to try. I am rejoicing because another one of his whores is proven to be a sneaky, conniving B*TCH! Ah, that makes me feel GOOD! hahaha
As each one of his "virtuous" and "compassionate" "Friends" shows her true colors, he must see how wrong he's been about them and me.

Popeye:
I am speechless. I am jealous because it really doesn't matter much to you except for vidication under your present set of circumstances. I wish it were David and me getting those final results. If only.....
Wow. That's stunning news. Congrats, Popeye. The Whores have once again shown their true colors.
Catnip =^^=

His OW has done and said sneaky things that are so crafty and designed to make me look bad but couldn't be traced back to her. When I tried to stand up for myself, he accused me of going crazy. Between the two of them, they have sent my H hate messages from "me", turned off my phone and had a password put on my phone so that I couldn't have service restored, turned off his phone and tried to make it look like me, calling my house with stipud rants or just hanging up, doing drive bys, sent a private investigator to follow me (she knew too much to have come by the info by any other means), hacked into my e-mail, hacked into my H's e-mail and tried to make it look like I did it, have sent computer dating service material to my house and through e-mail, did a change of address on my mail, have accused me of embezzling from my own company, and so much more.
Anyway, it's all catching up to them now and he finally sees that I have ALWAYS been honorable and trustworthy and they are not. The closer the current OW gets to having him truly in her clutches the more vindictive and blatant she becomes.
You can't know what a wonderful feeling it is to be finally see his fog lifting in that respect. I am finally seen for what I have always been- decent! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Sorry though if it makes you feel worse about your own situation. If it can happen to me, it can happen to you. Question it!!! Maybe your OCs are lies too?

Ohmigod Popeye! I am soooo happy for you! Talk about the last laugh! LOLLOLLOLOLOL!ROFLMFAO! You go girl! As you can see, I'm living vicariously through your triumph.
That B*TCH got hers, and yes I hope you're reading this, Popeye's skank and Poorme! To Broadzilla, all of your manipulation and callous caluclation to destroy the life of our Ms. Popeye backfired and you are left holding both the [censored] and the bag. Go find the father of your baby and leave decent folk alone.
Popeye, God must have given you this wake-up call for a reason. Now you see what your beloved is capable of with the right provocation, and who is the true villan (sp)of this marriage. Poorme's snotty family should be picking up their faces right about now. You've been vindicated my friend. Please take the time to step back and heal.
I hope that even though you've been spared, you will still stop by and visit us once in a while. Your advice and kind words have given me such comfort. Don't forget us!

[This message has been edited by pollypurebred (edited June 22, 2000).]

Popeye,
I am soooooo happy for you, but I am jealous too. Now the OW is completely out of your lives and you can choose to rebuild with your H.
As for me, H never had a DNA test. It was one of those non-negotiable issues. I wanted him to have one so bad, but he just would not have it. Even though you can't go by this all the time, the OC favors him alot. Although I personally don't deal with OW, she's out there in the perimeter of our lives (pick ups/drop offs).
I'm happy for you. You and your H no longer have to deal with OW.

[This message has been edited by CD (edited June 22, 2000).]

As you can see, I am glowing, gloating, and everything else! Woo hoo!
Yes, the existance of an OC was a HUGE strain on me. I didn't know how I could deal with feeling like the OC wasn't at fault and deserved a family, still be fair to me, and not feel guilty for not supporting a relationship between my H and the OC. It was a big issue in my H and me not reconciling. I needed to feel honorable about THAT too and didn't know how to reconcile that without just simply bowing out.
It is a HUGE relief to know (although I always knew) that the OW is a liar! Oh, the torment that woman put us through!
But this wasn't our only problem. I am not staying because of the overwhelming lies, attacks on my character, the deceit, open humiliation and lack of respect. While it is not too much to forgive, it is too much to risk a future on.
I kind of feel like you guys are encouraging me to give it another chance? That makes me feel really bad. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] I don't fault you for your own choices. No! I think you are incredibly strong to stick by your spouses and go through this nightmare, honoring your vows of "til Death do you part." Still, I can't see how I can get back in that ring with the devil! He's proven the fog can be lifted from his clouded eyes, but that is all he's proven.
popeye,
Oh, my, what fantastic news! I don't know what this means to your pending divorce, but that's for another thread.
A rarely get to suggest this, but have you considered a lawsuit against the OW for what she's done in perpetrating an attempted mispaternity? Check out your states fraud statutes for starters.
Bystander

popeye,
Yes, look into a lawsuit against her. The law would not have been fair with a child in the mix, but now that she has been proven wrong, they should back you. Also all of the other harrassment should help your case. Keep in touch. FYI, my h had the dna, it was a match. So I guess I am in here for the long haul. Thanks for bringing a smile on my face.
babstr.

Even though I have stop posting for a while, I am happy for you. I have also faced a battle that is not yet over. My H received CS papers in Dec. 1999. I got the mail--he works out of town. All H- broke loose.
My H had ended the PA for about 6-7 months, but he has bonded with the OC and he wanted me and my girls to be apart of the OC life. I told him that in order for me to do that, I would have to have a DNA test done. We did all that we were suppose to do. The OW did not. After talking to the CS people, we knew that the OW knew to take the OC to have the DNA test done. She never did.
My H is one that feels it is better to let something go----take the wait and see aproach. My H said that he has had feeling that the OC might not be his and has ask the OW.
I have made my H see that maybe she was looking for sometype of benefits---Him, the child and money. He said that she told him that when I found out, I would leave him. I proved her wrong and now she is suffering. She thought she would have it all and since the DNA has come up, she has backed down. I saw the OC and have a picture of him---OC does not look like my H or our children--OW fix it so that H could not see OC or get in touch with OC. This went on from January to April.

I in a way feel sorry for her. For her, a woman being so deseprate that she would try any and everything.

My H is a good father and I know that he would do his best to take care of the OC as he has done for our girls--they do not know. I can not ask him to give that up--the OC is 20 months old and a boy---our girls are 12 & 14. I look at it as a blessing.
Before when I posted I was not aware of a forum for OW/OC. Ladies, I feel your pain.
Pray brought me through the suffering. A after the storms and rain comes the sunshine. God did not promise us sunshine always. And by trusting and having faith in the Almighty---we shall overcome and be stronger women. I look at this not as a problem but as a situation. And the OC did not ask to come into this world---he did nothing wrong--the parents did.
Before I found out I dreamed that my H died and a lady came to our house with the child, told me his name and all. (The OC real name.)
God was preparing me for it.
I'm off of my soapbox for now. I will be lurking and posting. ITS
P. S. The case has been dropped by the CS people. We send/give clothes and shoes, etc. but no monies. Tha is all we will do until otherwise.

In the South,
I would be very skeptical about this OC! If the OW was after money, but denied a DNA test and allowed the case to be dropped, I seriously doubt the paternity of this child.
My H's OW supposedly got pregnant the first time. Now I know this is possible, but consider the odds...
Okay, my H's OW knew he wanted a child. That was his mantra and excuse for his running around. She used that to keep him there. She also figured, like yours, that I would drop him if I knew about her and the baby. Like yours, she was wrong, she had to go to Plan B, which was file papers in court.
She told the H that she was suddenly out of income and needed help. She just wanted a few extra bucks to help out. She sent him a picture of the child hoping to appeal to his emotions. When he asked for a DNA test so that he could get the child insurance, she declined and withdrew the suit. She huffed and said how dare he question the paternity. He could just go to hell and never see the child again.
All the scheming and conniving this woman did and she's ready to just walk away when she is home free by just giving a blood sample? She would have all kinds of rights by law by submitting to a DNA test, and she's walking away?
I am amazed at the lengths people go to to wreck lives and indulge their selfishness. I am amazed that people would lie to their own children about who their parents are. But they exist. I think your H's OW and mine are two of a kind. I wouldn't send her a damn thing!
Anyway, if you want to be sure, a test can be done without the OW's sample. If you can get the child and swab the inside of the cheek, you have your sample. The H sends his in and they can tell if he is the father. There are labs that offer this service online. It's about $300.

WoW, Popeye!!! I'm so glad for you. I wish my news was as good. My H wont even ask for a DNA test from the KNiving B***H...he says the affair started in October of 99 and the baby was born on June 9, HMMMMMMMMMM...that's only 8 months...either he's lieing (again) about how long the affair was going on, or she is lieing. Both are possible, but I want to hope that it isnt his, for goodness sake's the baby was 7lbs 10 oz, that is not a 5 week premature baby. She had no complications or problems, so there was no reason for it to be that big unless it was full term..he is so blinded by her lies and deciet that he doesnt even realize it takes 9 months to cook a baby!!!
------------------
