Since May of 1999, I have been a member of this forum. Nearly every day for a year and a half, I have had 'therapy sessions' by coming here and posting and/or lurking.
I know I am a tough nut to crack and I still rage and obsess and have 'issues' and they will never really leave me because of my personality and overall make-up, however, I is better. I truly is!
I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to God, for leading me here, to Steve Harley for creating this site and to each and every one of you with whom I have such warm and special feelings for, who I know probably better than I know my own sister in many ways and how grateful I am for our special friendship.
What an amazing group of outstanding women...and the men here are pretty incredible, too.
Catnip =^^=

Dear catnip,
Now you make me cringe =##=, ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif) .
Really, I know what you mean, I feel precisely the same way and sometimes I am seized by an overwhelming love and kinship for the members here.
I also benefited greatly from your insight and perspectives which you express so eloquently and sincerely. I understand very well the personality thing, and I am grateful that all of you have helped despite me not plan Aing now. I did all the Plan A stuff in my marriage (which WS acknowledges often), so I simply can't Plan A post-WS's A.
Finally, this MB site gives me the sanity I sorely need and I do not know when I will be weaning myself off this site.

Catnip,
I feel exactly the same way. I always look forward to reading your posts and replies because you always express your feelings so clearly and your replies are so wise and filled with common sense. I am so fortunate to have found this "Oasis" in the dessert. Thank you.
I'm happy to have met everyone on here. I think you're all very special, courageous and resilient women who I would be proud to know anytime. God Bless you all.
Comfort

catnip,
i love this place too. i am so glad i was brought here. i sometimes lurk when i am too busy to post. and whether i am lurking or posting, i always feel much better after i have come here. i can say what i feel and not get flamed. i can say things and everyone understands what i am going thru. we have all been there. i read things sometimes and cry because i have felt the same way and i know how the person who wrote it must be feeling. i guess it validates my feelings, makes me realize everything i have thought and done are completely normal.
i know some people seem to leave once they are doing better because they feel this brings it all back. and i guess sometimes it does. but i also know how lost i was until i found this place and want to at least try and help others with what i have been thru. i don't know when i will ever want to leave either. i don't feel like it is dwelling, this will forever be a part of our lives. especially because there is an OC involved. i guess if it was just the affair, i would maybe be able to just finally go on. but not with all the other stuff. it is like a daily therapy session for free.
well, i have said enough. thanks to everyone here on the forum. i am thankful for you all and hope we can continue helping and supporting eachother.
happy_girl

Catnip,
I don't know how I have been surviving all these years without this group. I have shared things with you ladies (and gentlemen) that I would not tell my best friends or family.
And, I have learned from your experiences and gained more from your counsel than I could ever express in words.
I feel, like Happy, that I would like to continue to share whatever I have learned with others who go through this. God bless you all for being there for me and for each other.
- Heavenly

Catnip,
Your words have been invaluable to me, Catnip, both in terms of comfort and legal guidance. As you know, I am watching as the continuing saga of "Can We Successfully Sue The OW?"unfolds, since I would like to do the same.
The past couple of weeks have been very tough for some reason, and I have been lurking here even more than usual trying to find bits and pieces of replies to posts that will help me get through another day. I've missed your comments.
Thanks to you, Catnip, and to all of you who come here as I do to try to comprehend this horrible reality we all must face. I have no other support group, and if it weren't for all of you, I'd really be in this alone.

Anniem:
Thanks so much for your sweet compliment. (And I love you, too, Jenny)
You know, Jenny was here before I was and she is the one person I leaned on the most when I found this site. She was here for me through my incredible debilitating anger, when my husband went through his horrible withdrawal and here when we began our recovery. So, if I can help you or anyone else here, I guess we all just pass it forward when we can.
I called my attorney in Dallas this morning to chat with him about the current impending lawsuit against the OW but he wasn't in. I left a voicemail and told him I would be here all day. When I talk to him, I'll let you know where he is in the process. We haven't had any communication since we flew down there last month because of the divorce and the bankruptcy business. It has had me pretty busy...another reason I have been light on the site. But not to worry, I will be around throughout this very busy month with any update regarding the suit.
My Mom will be in town tomorrow, thursday we have the auction for my Grandfather's estate, Friday we go to the Lake for the weekend with my aunt...so I have some fun things coming up! What a nice change from all these heartbreaking issues.
On the 21st of October, all the MB Forum members from Minnesota are heading up to St. Cloud, MN for a mini-gathering...anyone else interested is invited as well. You don't have to be from Minnesota!
October 23rd I go to Las Vegas for three days to a trade show for my industry. I'm going to go around and do a little networking/PR work in the hope I can get some customers to come back to me and reassure them the nightmare is ending and I can take care of them.
And then, we have my two year anniversaries this month, starting today. Two years ago today, my husband said he wanted out of the marriage, that he wanted to be rid of me. Two years ago on the 24th he met OW, then follows a procession of D days that last through January 17th. So, the next three or four months are going to be difficult for me. I have already had a crying jag and slammed some books in celebration of these auspicious anniversaries. hahahaha
So what.
See, Anniem, you shouldn't get me going...I don't know when to shut up! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Love
Catnip =^^=
