We got home this afternoon. It was hard to come home to the 'realities' after all that serenity and beauty of the forests and lakes. A herd of deer emerged from the woods out onto the lake to feed on a bale of hay someone left out there for them. I watched and eagle swoop down out of the sky diving to the ground as I sat staring out the window waiting for the coffee to brew.<P>My husband and spent 36 hours working together, going out to dinner, socializing with friends and not once did I think about the 'situation'...<P>I wish you could all come up and spend time there with me and just BE...so good for the soul, the spirit, the heart.<P>Jenny: I can't say I'm not disappointed you won't be coming through the tundra, but at leaast you'll be vacationing stateside with family and it doesn't get much better than that. I'll e-mail you in a couple days.<P>cd: I heard the East coast was hit pretty hard with the white stuff. Nice thing about this time of year is the snow melts pretty quickly...it won't stay long enough to do too much damage.<P>Happy Girl: It's not always cold here! Try MN in the summer...90 degrees and 100 percent humidity...I can't believe we can't grow orchids!<P>Gem: What hotel in January? And, you "couldn't talk to everyone" because why?
