catnip,
I'm sorry I can't join you. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif) It looks like we won't be going to MN this year after all! I tried to email you privately but got a return to sender. The kids and I are going to visit family in CA next week and then we'll take a REAL vacation with DH this fall--yea! I'll be sipping cocoa in your honor soon... it's 43 at my mom's and anything under 65 feels like freezing for me, now... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)
Have fun at your new place!!
J

Dear Catnip,
Have fun in the new place.
My h and I were snowed in here today with 18 inches of glorious snow. Very nice.
BTW, the question is not will you have withdrawel while you're gone from the forum - it's whether the forum will suffer withdrawel from you when you're gone. And I'm sure it will.
"See you" in a few days,
cd

We got home this afternoon. It was hard to come home to the 'realities' after all that serenity and beauty of the forests and lakes. A herd of deer emerged from the woods out onto the lake to feed on a bale of hay someone left out there for them. I watched and eagle swoop down out of the sky diving to the ground as I sat staring out the window waiting for the coffee to brew.
My husband and spent 36 hours working together, going out to dinner, socializing with friends and not once did I think about the 'situation'...
I wish you could all come up and spend time there with me and just BE...so good for the soul, the spirit, the heart.
Jenny: I can't say I'm not disappointed you won't be coming through the tundra, but at leaast you'll be vacationing stateside with family and it doesn't get much better than that. I'll e-mail you in a couple days.
cd: I heard the East coast was hit pretty hard with the white stuff. Nice thing about this time of year is the snow melts pretty quickly...it won't stay long enough to do too much damage.
Happy Girl: It's not always cold here! Try MN in the summer...90 degrees and 100 percent humidity...I can't believe we can't grow orchids!
Gem: What hotel in January? And, you "couldn't talk to everyone" because why? You couldn't understand them because they all talked like the people in the movie Fargo??? Yea sure, you betcha, don't cha know...I don't blame ya, dere. If it wasn't because you couldn't understand the native language, you were probably suffering from a severe case of cabin fever...and I sure hear you on that one.
I'm heading out again on Saturday and back Tuesday...I imagine my postings will be rather sporadic for the next 45 days until I get my connection installed and my computer moved up there. In the meantime, you're all in my prayers and thoughts...
Fondly
Catnip =^^=

hey catnip, glad you had a wonderful time. and i think that gem meant that she couldn't talk to US. since she was at the hotel. i know i missed everyone when i was back home in late oct/nov. even when i don't post, i almost always read the posts.
happy_girl

HG: I thought maybe that is what Gem meant...but, I didn't want to miss an opportunity to make fun of the local dialect. Just clowning around.
Catnip =^^=
